How to File a DMCA Complaint

To file a DMCA complaint, please include the following details:

  5. A statement of accuracy: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Signature: An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or pursuant to the law, to post and use the material in your content, you may send a counter-notification containing the following information to our Designated Copyright Agent:

  1. Identification of the material: A description of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  2. Your contact information: Your address, telephone number, and email address.
  3. A statement of good faith belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or a misidentification of the material.
  4. A statement of consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if your address is outside the United States, the jurisdiction of the federal court in any district in which [Your Website Name] may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  5. Signature: An electronic or physical signature of the person making the counter-notification.

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy in appropriate circumstances to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
